I’ve been lucky enough to join Premier Anna Bligh for the past two years on her regional Christmas Concert tour and in this, the third year of my involvement, I decided to make a feature of beautiful three-part vocal harmonies with Tnee and Euan Gray. It was hard work getting it all together, but the result was absolutely amazing. We were delighted to take the show to Rockhampton and Goodna with Joshua Hatcher in tow on bass and Euan bringing multiple goods of voice, guitar and sax.
We presented elements of that show together with drummer Rich Seymour and a eight-member choir of our friends at the Brisbane Jazz Club in a double-header day of afternoon family show and evening show. We definitely produced our finest Christmas music this year and I hope we can record some of the tracks for the next silly season.
