You have arrived! Thank you for taking the time to help me out by providing some feedback on these tunes. Important things to note:
- You should just be able to click on the song title and it will play. (scroll down this page to see the song titles)
- These are rough rehearsal takes of these tunes. All rehearsal tracks were done at the BJC (thank you club and thank you Mark Smith - sound engineer extraordinarie!). The exception is the last tune which Tnee and I wrote the music for and recorded at 10pm tonight (I have left in the dodgy start for you to laugh at).
- Some of the tunes have only been played once or twice before by the band. When I say rough, I do mean it - but man they are HOT players!
- Basically these are to give a feel for the verse and chorus of the song. There will be a fair bit of work done on the lyrics, music, arrangement and parts for those we choose to record.
- When you hear "Na na na"s or acutely unsettling vocal warbling it's likely that means "horns or something else cool goes here". Likewise with instrumental solos - mainly they are markers for now.
- We will be recording with real horns and other exciting extras.
