The seductive power of a woman’s voice has been a mystery for eons. Why do we so eagerly succumb to their charms from the very first note? What is it about them that fills us with desire? Oh, Lady Be Good is a feast of classic jazz and blues, flavoured with the music and stories of legendary sirens like Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Bessie Smith, Eva Cassidy, Astrud Gilberto, Nina Simone and more. Amazing anecdotes, iconic characters, and quality music, this is intimate jazz at its best.
