Australian singer-actor Melissa Western whirls through the glamorous and sometimes tragic lives of three icons of the twentieth century in her jazz-cabaret show. Based on the life stories of three very different but equally influential figures in popular culture, Ella Fitzgerald, Marilyn Monroe and Marlene Dietrich, this obscenely glamorous show explores how these women and their lives influence, shape and even limit the hopes and dreams of any 'would be' singer trying to make it in the 'big smoke'.
